I think i put in the STP oil additive which have the same sales pitch as your one but i got slated for doing so off here.

Was told their crap and good normal oil is best...

Still unsure..

If you ever get the chance to watch QVC next time their care car bit is on watch it , it looks pretty impressive stuff , they use normal oil and then add some of the extralube and the results look good to me . I never believe all the b*llocks about improved mpg , but i was thinking more of engine protection , gearbox etc .....

No doubt somebody will post a reply slagging it off before they have even seen the demo , but thats just what some people are like on here ,lol ;)

Yeah.. i have actually seen the QVC car care and they showed you how the stuff sticks to the parts way longer etc... then regular oil but n one else seems to agree.

I think i remember "Oilman" (who is in the business i think) saying good regualr oil is just as good and already has these additive in them. Think i heard something about less free reving with additives. Really cant remember.

We had ZX1 contact us with all their sales blurb, and sent samples etc.

Their lubricants for assemnbly and adding to joints etc are quite nice to work with, but stink.

But no chance i will put them in a car again, we tried them in 3 cars and they all came out rather fast as all 3 started running really bad, and one smoked like a *****. Fresh new oil and all was ok.

Good to hear different peoples opinions or experiences . I've used it in 3 cars now , but never had any smoke or problems with it running bad . Can't say i felt any difference at all with the engine to be honest .
Best thing about QVC , you get a 30 day money back guarantee . F*ck knows how that would work with this stuff ? What are ya supposed to do if you don't like it , drain all the engine oil and send em that back ,lol ;)

You can also get this stuff in a pump action spray , called c60 , i've used it alot on door hinges , rusted padlocks etc .... definitely works on them , smells a bit like wd40.

I used to use it all the time. As well as slick 50 not used any recently though and havnt put any in the 182.

when i put it in my last car it felt a lot smoother, as if i was driving with slight brakes on before.

As i say though not bothered with it recently. Just stick to changing decent oil often.

slick 50 is gash, dont use it

it was me Ben who put ZX1 on to you, i had a feeling you would like the grease etc

Why does your oil need addatives?

Oil companys spend millions in development of oils and addative packs, you don't need anything additional. Just a decent oil.

Cheers
Simon
