OIL AND FILTER

hi,whats it like to change an oil & filter on a willy?

as i was told the filter is a pain in the buttock!?

Get a garage to do it (supply the oil and filter) its a pain in the ass. Its about the only car ive had that i cant easily do.

If you go to National tyres with the voucher out the paper (tabloids) you get duckhams qxr semi synthetic and filter all done for 15 quid. The oil costs 20 quid in the shops. Never done it myself for that price.

Other places offer Mobil 1 at about 32 quid all in inc filter. Depends if you really want fully synthetic over semi. Id rather go for semi and do it more regularly.

Be warned, if you go to National Tyres they will probably have to order the filter in. Have to wait a day ot two.

If your doing it yourself remove bolt out of bottom engine mount and rock engine forward that way youll still have some skin left on your arm its not as hard as it sounds.

Hope this helps and lets face it if you do it yourself at least you know what type of oil has gone in.
