Oil breather pipe

Hi,

Just trying to fit my bmc Cda filter using standard filter hose on to the throttle body. Does the oil breather pipe just dangle about or does it push on to something because I can't find where it goes? Cheers

it pushing into a fitting at th back of the engine under the coil pack
