Ok start the engine running for a minute or so helps make the oil a bit more vischious. Then turn the engine off.
You need an 8mm square sump nut adapter and a new sump washer (£1.1 from Renault don't skip this point as otherwsie the engine will leak oil)
Get under the car if you have a under fllor cover then you'll see two gaps in it one on the passenger side one on the driver side more. The one on the passenger side is for the gearbox so don't fiddle with that the one on the drivers side is the one you want.
If you don't have a cover under the car then you'll see the sump which looks like this

Right now you want to undo the sump nut its the drivers side one its on the flat plate of the sump the gearbox one you don't want to touch thats on a nobby thingie on the other side. Don't mix them up.
Stick a load of newspaer down as if your doing it on the drive it doesn't come out if you spill it and I always spill it. open the bonnet and loosen the oil cap but keep it on the opening to stop it getting any dirt in there. Also make sure you have some glove on or if now make sure you clean your hands throughtly as oil will damage then plus some skin care stuff afterwards as oil drys your hands. I always have a black binbag ready to throw the stuff in afterwards.
Loosen the bolt a bit then stick a container under the car to collect the flui its difficult to find one the right size as it has to hold 4.5 liters and when you move it out the way it will rock the level. I use a metal washing up type bowl which works fine stick this on the paper and then undo the sump nut the whole way. When your on the last few threads do it by hand and try and keep hold of the bolt and not drop it in the oil the oil will pour out quickly after a minute or so it will slow down to a dribble get a paper hanky and wipe the area around where the oils been coming from.
Retrieve the sump nut from where the waste ol is as you'r bound to have dropped it in try and clean it up and remove the oil sump washer (it might have been stuck on the sump though somtimes they do.
Stick a new sump washer on the bolt and then put it back in the sump. I've no idea to what torque I always do it quite tight then recheck it later.
Open the new oil and pour it in the engine in the right hole.
