Oil Change

  Turbos.
My mate has a 2001 Clio which hasn't been serviced for a couple of years. He needs to sell it but knows nothing about cars. How much should he expect to pay just for an oil change from Renault versus an Independent?

Cheers!

I'm sure Kwik Fit used to do oil changes for £25 quid. Not sure on Renault, but my guess is way higher than that

  330i. E30 Touring.
Hours labour plus parts, I'd imagine.

Easy enough to do yourself though, as I'm sure you're aware!

Renault charge about £99 for oil and filter change iirc..

Kwikfit probably use some chip fat if they charge £25..

Buy some decent oil £30, Filter £5 then pay an independant an hours labour.. Or DIY.

Thanks lads, just wanted to give him a ballpark so he doesn't get ripped off! He'd like it done by a garage of sorts so it looks like a proper job.

It's so easy to do yourself I wouldn't even entertain the idea of paying someone else to do it, and that's coming from someone who's definitely not mechanically minded and always pays other people to do stuff!
