Oil Cooler with Polo Rad?

I have fitted my ITBs with 90mm trumpets and large filter so am having to replace the standard radiator. I have picked up a Polo one brand new from a local motor factors and will get a bracket made up to get this fitted. I am aware of the bigger golf one that people also use but wasn't sure if it fits when using the power steering pump so took the safe bet.

Is it worth running an oil cooler to help keep the temperatures down or is it not required or won't help much with coolant temps?

The other option is spend the oil cooler money on a better/bigger radiator in the future.

Been using the polo rad with oil cooler (with pas pump, 172 cup) for racing and its been fine, I did however cut 3 air holes in the front member and bumper.
