oil cooler

ok has anyone had problems with there oil cooler on a mk1 clio? i think my headgasket has gone (bubbling in water, oil in water) but when i went to the garage the dude that worked there did some ringing round for me and talked to a fella that said it maybe the oil cooler that is causing that. not really sure what to do now.

any comments appreciated

bubbling in the expansion tank and oil in the mixture... I'd of said defo head gasket on the way out. I may be wrong, but that's the symptoms my RT had. Took it to the garage, got the head skimmed, new gasket.... all sorted.
