Oil for the Willy

  Willy2

Im planning on changing the OIL in the willy for the first time, I know this question has been asked loads of times but which one is the best to use?

BTW on cold start up im getting the tappety noise, im hoping its because the oil needs a good change or the previous owner has put in crap oil. I know valvers and willys suffer with this, but its really P*ssing me off. It goes away when warm, but i want to get it sorted, btw the oil pressure is good!

Use 10W 40 semi mate, thats wot im using and it seems to be fine.

Valvoline is suppose to be good, im Castrol magnatec-ing it at the mo.

Oh, and I had the same problem as ur explaining mate, was told the oil change would sort it...............but my belt snapped before I got to do it :(

elf competition is good, in either 10w40 for winter or 15w50 for summer.

Multitude of other oils you can use an continental oils such as Motul or elf, total etc etc.

Its pretty hard to get a crap oil in todays market.
