Oil in coolant

Car  RS172
As title, I've got oil in my coolant but no mayo on oil filler cap, also the car doesn't overheat at all.

Any ideas??

Is it definitely oil? and not just the oily residue that is found in expansion tanks?! My old Alfa was a minter but always had an oily residue in the expansion tank even shortly after changing the coolant....my mate who is a top mechanic said it was perfectly normal... just a thought..!

If there is oil in the header tank, if you didn't put it in, there is only one way it gets there... HGF

It doesn't always result in poor engine running and over heating
