Oil Leak around sump Nut

Im getting more oil than Im comfortale with around the sump nut, me and a mate changed the oil/filter the other day and there was a fair bit of oil there to start with but Im noticing little patches about there size of about three 50'p on floor.
It seems to be more on the plastic guard and dripping from the hole you use to get to the nut.
I know there was a bit of overspill where the filter came off but this seems fresh clean oil....

Any ideas?

Was the sump washer replaced?

If not thats why its leaking, also to be safe make sure it is tight.

Ahhh that could be it! I changed the filter, my mate did the nut lol

Plumbers tape.

PTFE its plumbers tape my Williams had it on the sump nut.

1) just joking about the sump washer but in this case its probably the reason behind it or a loose sump plug.

2) The story behind Shermy is.....when I started working for Renault many many moons ago the nutty professor was on telly, and cause I'm not exactly slim they started calling me Shermy, b******s I look nothing like Sherman Klump!
