oil leak

garage told me when they serviced my 16v that there was oil in the spark plug area, i've changed the rocker cover so could the gasket be leaking oil down there, any help will be appriciated

I had this problem and it turned out it was my rocker gasket. I replaced that (not too difficult a job - though I almost buggered it up, lol) and it seemed to solve the problem. There have been a few with this problem and usually this sorts it.

good doing that tommorrow as thought it was that, i changed it myself and thoght i bodged it up so time to take more time to do it, cheers

yeah, try searching the old forum mate as there are quite a lot of posts on there about it
