Oil level display stopped working

The "oil ok" display doesnt come on anymore when starting the engine.
Anyone got any ideas

Is it just a blank screen or is there little dashes instead - - - - ?

If the little dashes are showing then you need to check your oil. If not check your oil just to make sure all is ok.

No dashes or anything. Milage comes on straight away on start up, instead of oil ok or whatever would come on if the oil was low.

And yes i have checked the oil. As i do regularly! I just like things to work. If something is fitted it annoys the hell out of me if it dont work.

mine did this, after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, it came back.
