Oil pressure gauge - what range?

I'm planning on getting an oil pressure gauge.

I wondered what the typical max value the 172 oil pressure reaches so I know which gauge to buy.

But is 3 the maximum, as it will rev to 7800?

My 172 engine runs 5-6bar cold idle, then around 1bar hot idle as RSPORT-andy said

Just get something 1-6 bar. It's pretty standard to expect the needle to rise off the scale when the oil is cold.
