OIL question for 182

Im thinking of changing the oil on my 182 as it has done nearly 6000 miles,what oil would you recommend,how much oil do i need and would i need a new sump plug washer,if so can they be brought from halfords etc. many thanks in advance.

Pro silkline 5-40 is a popular choice.
Ype you need a new sump washer otherwsie it will leak out. £1.10 from Renault or about the same probably at Halfords but I think you get a new sump nut as well (not that you need one though).

sump washers for the Mk1's are only 10p at the dealers.......

do the Mk2 not use the same type ?

Nope Mk2 owners are rich so they have to pay extra for a special washer.
The Mk1 washer would fit but if Renault say don't use it I'm not going to risk it.
The Mk2 washer is a bit bigger and wider and has a bit of rubber round the outside.
