oil question

the lad that serviced my car put semi synthetic oil in my car couple months back, now i need to top it up is it ok if i put fully synthetic in with the semi?

you should have fully any way semi is wrong you want 5/40 full synthetic(sp)

yip thats what i thought but didnt relise until i read the service bill, u think i should drain it then refill with fully synthetic

NO you cant mix semi synthetic with full synthetic, it doesnt mix well, their fine to run of semi so top up with whats in their untill you do next oil change then put 5-40 full synthetic in when you do this make sure you change the oil filter aswell.
