Oil(?) Underneath Engine bay

Just noticed this recently when looking underneath, there is a build of of oil. It doesnt fall off, just sits on it.


Any ideas?

coming from the gear linkage? if so, you wont EVER stop it, they literally ALL do it

It's dry after touching it, so its not really a problem?

Yes thats ok, the tray there is to catch the oil renault know will leak!!

Bit of a bump, but i seem to have knocked this on something and the cover seems loose and drooping at one side. Its leaking oil at the moment, but am I right its just the oil thats been sitting there?
