OK, I give up. Coilovers...enlighten me?

OK, interesting so far.

What about adjustability? Is it really necessary?

Surely the set-up I need on track to work the best from the sticky rubber has to be so hard it would be unusable on the road normally, hence the adjustment needed?

How many people run adjustable units, and actually do adjust them for track work?

I do.

The Leda's are so easy to adjust for on track. You can do it in seconds.
The fun bit is dialling in the right amount for each specific track.

MArk it is a shame you didn't make it up to Brands last week, I would have taken you out for a run.

Before you spend any money, come and try my car out.

I concur that the setup is easily as important as the components.

I can highly recommend Northampton Motorsport for suspension setup.

I have got H&R's on mine and they are great daily susp. Too soft for track, bare in mind they only have 70N/mm spring rates on front (about 150lbs/mm), dont know about the rear.

I run them relatively high on the front and decked on the rear - gaining more caster which adds camber when turning and gives better weight balance (more to the back end), stiffens the front...
Another aspect not mentioned is rear wheel alignment which makes real difference, I suggest toe out for slow circuits... depends on the suspension
I learnt alot on whiteline.com, I believe u know this site.

Yozzasport has different spring choices and with Leda u can get whatever...
