Ok, insurance with exhausts?

Told my insurance company that I have been forced to get the short lived renault exhaust for a stainless steel replacement.
Explained it was a custom made jobbie that would last unlike renaults one and its still hidden away and not boy racery etc... and they said fine.

She explained that my insurance covers me for 1k of mods, coilovers are 650, exhaust 300 so all good.

I thought they would rape me.
She asked if it would increase power... i said not to my knowledge, just needed to get a new one before the oldie fell off.

Did anyone tell them it gave them big increases?

^ i replaced changed the renault exhaust as the back box snapped off clean, with a full custom quiet stealth exhaust system. it sounds no different to the renault one, has lifetime warrenty, and looks nicer under that car... but not sure if it would give it any gains.. duno...

anyway the insurance company were fine with it.

Same thing with adrain flux, they weren't bothered which shocked me tbh. Expected them to make an easy buck off of it really.
