Old Clio Owners Clubs

As many of you valver owners were probably in junior school when it hit the showrooms. Were there any owners clubs back then? Possibly bulletin booards or maybe just postal news letters etc.

i couldnt find any when i got my first valver back in 98, the only thing i found was the clio sports club mailing list on yahoo and that wasnt till 2000 i think
