Car  2002 172cup
Last sunday i picked up my 52, 172cup with 24k on it,piper cross filter and 30mm lowering springs.

And i love it what a car...I paid £5100 for it is this good?

I do have a few things to do the tyres were a bit low so i put a set of f1's.
Thinking of puting the air box back on with a performance panal filter.
And last cambelt i know it needs to be done because the car is five years old but how about the water pump and aux belt any info would be great.

cheers darren

I sold my 53 plate with 24k on it (and Eibach Sportlines) for £6500 exactly a year ago (and 8 months previous to that I was offered £8k!), surprised prices have dropped that much in a year to be honest, might be able to buy one again one day if they carry on like this!

u got urself a good cup their.. low mileage too :D nice price at that aswell

Yer i didnt think the price was to bad,it needs a few pennys spent on it ie tyres, cambelt but it will be a good car and only 24k.
Keep on truckin......

5 year service on my car which obviously included the cam belt was around £550

well its going to cost me a bit but it will be well worth it.

How many cups were made im i right in thinking it was 800..?

About 2000, 90ish were Silver...at which time Air-con was offered as an option (also available to Mondial owners as well though), all the rest were Mondial Blue.

Nice price but with tyres and cambelt your looking at least £700 so it's cost you more like £5800, which is about the right price.

When you're having the cambelt done it's just as well to do water pump and aux belts. Apparently trying to do the water pump afterwards is just as much work so most garages will do it all together.

Welcome. :)
