Is tethering using the 3g from the phone to get your laptop online?

Theres a free app called PDA net that can do that.

I've got the 3.0 (7A341) from a torrent, yet iTunes is downloading 3.0 as part of the software update, seems strange.

Nope.

Annoying, it's been like that all the way through the betas. God knows why they haven't implemented that seeing that the messages are stored in a sqlite database.

fo those that itunes still says the latest version is 2.21 just click the update button it will then change to 3.0

MMS has been working fine for me for a week. Have you texted 1010 to enable it?

great bluetooth function of playing music through a device works ok, well that was untill i paired it with my bluetooth HU... Music plays and sounds great yet you cant use the HU to skip track so its an iphone in hand jobby.. Mayes nokia works perfect through the HU or am i missing something ?

I just got a text from 1010 saying MMS isn't working yet, and that they'll let me know when it is.

Depending on whether you did a full restore or an upgrade you may have to text 1010 to enable MMS. A restore should enable it when the phone restarts and activates, an upgrade may not.

Then about a second later I got an MMS from 1010 with a picture saying All Done.

They didn't implement the bluetooth profile to allow control of playback.

Lack of rental ability in iTunes is a bit annoying especially if your going on holiday and downloading at the airport etc as I personally would want to rent not buy a film on my iPhone tbh.
