Got my ( first ) iphone this morning , 16gb 3Gs ( not really gonna use it as a ipod ) in MAN black over 18 month.

No unlimited text bolt on ( on 02 for iphone ) whats the best thing to do?

Get the family bolt on £7.50 for 5 ppl £15 for 10

U get unlimted everything to the people you chose

Not sure if it been mentioned in an earlier post (too many to read) but is it only the 3GS which has the compass application which tell you which way your facing on the maps? or it that a feature in 3.0 itself?

Just spoke to O2.. apparently the buy out of my £45pm contract which has 7 months left it seems is only £40. Which I think is pretty good really.
I'll hopefully get a replacement spanking 3G on monday.. What do they sell for on ebay..£275? That buys a 32GB 3GS with £100 change?

Only downside is the new 18 month contract I'm sure apple will release something new before xmas and i'll be uber pissed bearing in mind the 3GS is hardly a change.

Just been to local o2 store and they have plenty of 16gbs and 32gbs in either colour so i'm now the proud owner of a black 3GS. (white looks gash)

It's still pointless mate, well, not pointless, but not worth the hassle.

When you actually sit back and think about the differences you're paying for... it's really not worth it.
