Whatever they announce, I shall get tbh.
Cracked the screen on my 2G on sat, contract runs out in a few weeks, so time to do it properly.
I'm not bothered about 16/32GB, I just want a white one. Not sure I'd make the change from a 3G if those rumour pics are true tho..

that link isn't quite as straightforward as the one i used, but the principle is the same.
grab the song you want, clip in itunes to start from a certain point and last 30secs.
convert to AAC
drag and drop the file to your desktop
make sure file extensions are set to show via folder options in control panel
right click and rename the file to .m4r
double click the file and it will add itself to your itunes automatically
then just drag and drop the file from your ringtone folder via itunes to your iphone or just sync your iphone.

How long after WWDC do you think O2 will announce that it will be available and pricing plans? blah blah blah!!!
do you think i will be able to have it land on my doorstep the day its released if i order on the net?

Apple will decide when its available, not o2/CPW. They probably already have the plans decided, I doubt they'll change much from what they are atm and they'll go live once its h'actually announced.
Should get it the day after, but joining the fanboys outside the shop is part of the fun.

For those will jailbroken iphones.. whats the deal with upgrading to 3.0?
I have 3Gvideorecorder and dont want to loose the videos on it, and on my swap camera roll etc.. is there anyway of upgrading to a jailbroken 3.0 and keeping all that stuff?

Same with all the other upgrades really. The Camera roll should stay, not sure about the video tho.. I always lost any MMS messages when I upgraded so I'd imagine you'd lose them.
Tom said 3.0 has already been jailbroken. You'd have to upgrade, so wiping everything thats not standard, then jailbreak again. So I'm fairly sure you'll lose those vids..

But I'd work out a way of transfering those vids. Are they of Steve?
