I was just looking through old pictures of when i first got my 172. I can't believe how much it has changed...and how much i have spent!:evil:

Here's a picture of what it looked like when i picked her up on 44k miles.

...18 months, one court case, lots of bodyshop hours, the best part of 3 grand and various parts later...

How it is today. Just turned 71k miles and getting ready for a major service, MOT & brakes this Saturday. Still love every minute driving it too! Best car i've ever had.:approve:

I'm going to be moving on very soon, so i'll be testing the water for a sale in the coming month. I feel bad just thinking about it.:S

when the 172 goes i'll be looking at either a Racing Blue 182, Mk1 Vee or a Racing Blue 197.

...unlikely to be the 197 as it's too much £££ imho.

got to weigh up which is best, taking everything into account.

My mate has an astra VXR in blue, he bought it brand new on a 06 plate with the optional 19s and xenon etc wasnt cheap lol but god its quick

i like the look of the ctr, saw a gorgeous black one in chester, on superleggras, nice drop.... but not sure if they are abit 'big'? my mate has one, maybe i should take it for a spin!?

still a black gold 182 (with recaros), racing blue or maybe a trophy would be very nice :approve:

i'd want a company to insure mods, i've tried adrian flux on a group 14 car wouldnt insure me, tesco will only insure upto 5 mods, cant go with greenlight till i've got 1 years NCB, need to try admiral me thinks....
