only get 2 O’s on the trip - need more

Checked the car at the weekend before I head to Ring/Spa - noticed that I only had 2 Os on the oil trip - Im thinking that might be a bit low?

What do you recon?
What should I top it up with?

top it up with 5w 40

If you press the reset when you see oil ok it will show you the os

Full: 00000 (guessing there are 5)
Empty: -----
Me: 00---

I get both. Some days I get Oil Ok, some days I get Oil -----, as far as I can see the level is just below the mid point between the notches...

Yep, it does that... I should get it checked out. As it clearly is not empty.

a litre of oil is £12 a rebuild i dread to think!

on my 172 it changes depending on where i am parked eg if i am parked with the left hand side of my car on the path and right hand side on the road the oil dispslay says check oil. but if i am parked the other way it is fine?????????
