Oooh! Just remebered!

Before I retire to the land of nod theres one thing on my valver thats annoying me!

On the end of the wiper stalk theres a push down button with the symbols circle down circle down I think - wasnt on my parents RT when they had it.

What the chuffing hell does it do? Ive played with it alot and I cant seem to find it does anything!

Is that something else I have to fix now?

Think its summit to do with the alarm/immobilser

Youd have thought it would be in the user manual but alas I cant find any info on it.

it is in the owners manual, it is to do with overriding the immobiliser, i did a search there is about 5 different posts asking the same thing but i cant find them now!

Theres a button on my wiper stalk as well. Its something to do with setting the clock on the newer models of the clios (ive got a clio grande) I was pushing it for ages trying to set the clock then read the book and found it only works on the better clios

Well on my Cup it works the Trip computer so maybe it is that but you just dont have the comp.

Yeah on the 19s it works the trip computer, same stalk used on the 19 and the 16v i beleave

yup as above 19 16vs have the trip comp use same arm... y they didnt put it in the clio tho???

tried it today doesnt seem to do anything! being an old 16 valver its not going to effect the digital trip cus I dont have one!

Ive had another look through the manual and it says nothing.

Could be a replacement stalk from a 19 with computer? (having just skim-read this post!)

its definately in the manual and its definately to do with overidding the immobiliser. unfortunately someone has moved my manual so i cant scan the page in. someone did it before but i cant remember what the thread was called which had it in!

Out of curiosity doesn anyone have a handbook they want to sell? Ive found out mines actually from an RT hence the reason I didnt have the info I needed.
