ooops/oil

realised i had no oil in the valver last night, was sounding reallt ticky but the gauge in car said half full so i checked the dipstick and it was bone dry, so i wacked in some castrol 10-40, first of is this oil ok and 2nd will my car have had any harmdone it sounds ok now but will i have done any serious damage???

So long as it wasn't to low you should be fine. There not much you can do anyway now.
The oil should be fine i'd go for 5-40 personaly on a valver.

only time will tell tbh , you may not of done horrific damage but depends how long she's been dry because no lube = no fun lol.

Its a 2.0liter engine engine from the WIlliams and the same bottom end as the Megan 2.0 as well
