Hey i bought the new Vibe 3000 watt sub SQ 12 Encloser and blew it up within 30 mins of fitting it becaus the dosey people at Halfords sold me the display model.

Was it wired up when u bought it? if not then if it was a display model that wasnt used. Would check ur wiring before putting in another one, just incase another blows. lol

never said,anything about rating,i was on about the cone now having more flex if it was used as a display and actually demoed

but the cone doesn't flex.

it is more likely to blow after it is bedded in due to the roll and spider being less taught.

still doesn't explain it blowing after 30 mins of being installed

Take it back to where it came from - guessing you haven't got it that long/have a receipt?

Demo item or not, if it's not setup right it's not going to like it.
Put 2 & 2 together you usualy get 4. Do the maths - get rid of it - get the hell out of Halfrauds!

Oh yeah, a little advice - get something else besides vibe!
