I'd better get on the phone to K Tec.

strip of carbon vinyl over the join...

I wouldnt buy a new one because of that. Although, their new Matt finish carbon splitters looks awesome.

gutted for you mate they seem brittle as fook, imo if i had a 172/182 i wouldnt buy a carbon one even tho they do look good just seems daft to spend so much on something that WILL brake at the site of a kerb if you get what im saying.

Yeah, right! I think I may receive a response of the two finger variety... Got it booked in with a garage on the 17th to have some plastic welding and a spray. There's a new splitter waiting in the dining room :)

Ouch. Gonna have to be ultra careful once mine's on. You wouldn't think you normally come that close to scraping the bumper would you?

(not you Fubar ;) )

I almost regretted buying a OE plastic one, I bought it cos I thought the CF ones would break too easily, I'm rather glad now :D

My GF left in a hurry last night.. going to fast down our steep drive = cracked splitter :(:(:(

Bet she still denied it :rolleyes:dont worry mate my g/f thought the cup would look better with a 2 piece splitter! so that was her banned from ever driving it again:approve:

I've scrubbed the b****cks out of my carbon one, curbs, speed bumps & even pot holes, coilovers get you low enough for it lol... its still in one piece :D all though rubbing your hand underneath you can feel the scars lol

Bloody hell if I put a splitter on mine and had coilies i'd be forever breaking it, and probably my bumper too.

Its so high it can go over kerb and not go anywhere near touching, I supose thats why standard cars are so high.
