Opinions on aerials.

Mine's buggered. The housing for the tip to go into snapped off in the snow and crap weather.
So now i'm left aerial and signal-less for my radio. (How i miss capital FM. Or GALAXY!)
Been looking at getting a new one, and was unsure about replacing it, but iirc i need a 23mm socket to get it out.
I've seen these shark fin ones, but i'm not sure whether they're any good, or if they look doggers when fitted. For £6 i can't complain really, unless i just 'have' one from the scrap.

So yeah, any pics of clio's with shark fin's fitted/opinions?

haha im in the same boat mate, i have a shark fin my brother ordered for his corsa vxr but it doesnt fit because the HUGE spoiler hit it once the boot is open.. Its on offer to me now but i cant decide if it will look gash on the 182.. How did you remove the roof lining? easy job? i may fit it tomorrow and put some pictures on for ya if its pretty straight forward job..

Agree with b16doe stay away from shark fin aerials on clios imo they look poo

I think its gonna look gash now i've thought about it more. :/
And i havent removed my own roof lining, however i butchered the f**k out of one at the scrap so i don't know how you'd 'amicably' get it off.

Yeh, now i've seen the light i'm glad i didn't order one.
Just need to know how to sort the roof lining...
