I know there a few threads on the b2 but do they pick up Safety vans or handheld laser guns or not,or do you have to get a laser addon?

YES!!!

sorry for the oversized writing but this has been covered hundreds of times on here. The B2 will pick up everything that uses laser eg. handheld guns, mobile vans. Also picks up gatso/truvello/schools/blackspots/specs cameras etc.

the additional unit is a radar detector if you want it, but not much uses radar any more.
