I have the original cassette player in my clio (2002 MKI 172), it can control the original CD changer that goes under the seats?

Arr right if that the question then yes the stock Mk1 172 came with cd changer and a tape head unit. Jst have to use the right cd chnager on the Renault (supplied) stuff works

can the original cassette player control the original CD chnger?
right now I have pioneer HU and I want go back to original. the previous owner gave me the original cassette player that came with the car. I saw original CD changers here for sale and I wanna know if they will work with my cassette player. if they don't then I will have to stay with the pioneer HU wich is very good but yesterday someone try to brake into my car to steal it so I can't afford any more damage to my clio.

after edit: edde, thank you for the quick answer. how can I know if it's the right CD changer? will a MK2 CD chnger also fit (I think this changer came with the original CD player)?

let's be more specific, I found a changer for sale that for sure fit 182, will it fit my cassette player?

Yes they all use the same connector and setup.
