Out damn spot ... water marks!

  ClioSport 182

Washed my black 182 today in the shade. Its around 35 degrees at the moment over here in Madrid. Anyways, I could not shimmy leather the car quick enough and some water dried in the heat and left water spot marks.

How do I get rid of these and can I stop this happening perhaps by mixing something with the water? I tried cleaning with a damp shimmy leather but to no avail. Very annoying indeed after toiling away in the heat.

Thanks for any help!

polish it after?

Not good for the paint work to do this every week during the summer. It lasts months over here in Madrid!

it will be ok if you use the right polish/ pads/ towels etc.

the other thing is to do it in the shade and keep the car wet untill your ready to dry the car

keep hosing the car off at different stages rather than just at the end

also a quick detailer spray should get rid of them
