Checked my power steering fluid yesterday (only had the car a few weeks) to find that it appears to have been severly over filled!
Just to double check it was the reservoir closest to the battery & washer fluid tank. Isn't brake fluid, I don't think!
After removing the cap (182) there is fluid from about 1.5" down the neck of the reservoir. Way above the max/min lines which are about 3" futher down and a cm apart.
I managed to pour some out till I could see what looked to be a sort of disc/bung in the bottom of the neck of the reservoir and couldn't figure out how the fluid could get past this?
Not knowing what I was doing I fugured 'If it aint broke, don't fix it' so put what I had removed back in for the mean time.
Any help would be appreciated!
