Well you are correct. The problem is that when looking at prices, everyone looks at the lowest common denominator i.e. the cheapest cars.
They are often cheap for a reason, 8 years old with about 6/7 owners, heavily modified etc. and therefore don't attract buyers.
I don't see why anyone would scoff at a nice original 182 in any colour with a well documented history and 2/3 owners from a "normal" seller for around £4-4.5K.
Bear in mind the way the industry is going, these will be the last circa 1 tonne, big engined hatchbacks with impeccable handling. The latest ltd edition Raider 200 has 18 inch wheels, enough said!
