Overheating :(

  Clio Rush 1.2
Hi all.

Problem with the car clearly. She's overheating. Heard water coming though the heater matrix pipes that go into the bulk head, so I thought it was blocked and she'd cleared it. Then seen there was too much water in the header tank and drained that out. Still overheating. Cold air was then blowing through the vents inside, and shortly after the red stop light came on. Let her cool and drove away and she was fine for 2 hours. Temp then started raising again, stop light came on. Opened the header tank to let the water up, and she was fine again. So I've no idea what's happening?

Help me someone please :(

Jordan.

It is most likely that you have an airlock, a buggered water pump or a blockage/head gasket failure.

So, who's been working on the coolant system recently?
