If i was to buy a new door from someone breaking a 172 what are the chances it would be a good match?????

Depends if your car or the new door has been previously repaired. You won't know till you offer it up.

For got to say mines a 02 and the donor door is 03

There are usually several variations of shades of colours. My old Meg Coupe was Gris Boreal and the paint match place pulled the card out for the colour and showed me that the card has 7 different shades of same colour. As said...you would need to offer it up to be absolutely certain.

What colour 172 do you have?

For example there are only 2 shades of Titanium, so the match should be good.

Shades listed depend heavily on the paint system.......unfortunately its a nightmare for all car makes and models. Stick with an IXELL supplier ideally for renault and you wont go far wrong.
