Painted Engine cover and Side Trip 172 Exclusive ( Few Pics)

been doing this over the last week , wanted to color code the side trim since i got the car in August 12, and then engine just needed a spot of Color.

You do these with rattle cans?

yeap Went on line and got them from st helens paints.. match is perfect and only £7 a can....

3 coats of primer rubbed down with 1200 wet and dry, 3 coats of Colour , then 2 coats of high temp gloss lacquer to finish..

Left a day between primer and colour and 2 between colour and lacquer, cam out well for my first attempt.
