they are a colour called andromeda - its got a rainbow flip when the sun hits it - its £30 a tin and as far as I know cant get it that would resist heat etc - would be good though I agree

Looks great! what it easy to do?
I really want mine done!! Newcastle area...

took me 2 days to do both calipers, one each day. First day i did 3 hours between 3 coats, then 2 hours between 3 coats second day. You need to allow a while to dry though as i found out doing my fuel rail guard.

I'm not really a fan of red calipers tbh (say's he whose car came with them :) )
I like the silver a lot :approve: yellow would look a whole load different, i'm not sure it would work.

Probably going to paint mine blue. But havin a Black/Gold clio, thinking Gold might be a good touch??

What ya think??

red looks very chavish IMO. Silver is much better, I quite like yellow but I would need to see it on a car myself before doing it. Mine :

I used hammerite smooth, like alot of people have.

Good, glad you said that, as I got some yesterday, just waiting for my new calipers to arrive..............only reason I questioned it was because it didn't mention how much heat it could withstand.

Yeh, I was bricking it after doing my first day of painting then looking at the tin. Also done bits on my fuel rail guard with the same paint. Hopefully it withstands the heat...

^^^ Dude it takes a couple of hours max! I did it on a hot day. Left 10 - 15 mins between coats and 10 mins untill i put the wheels back on. I didnt bother taking the calipers off as you can only see bits through the 182 wheels.

looks really good i painted one of mine silver today, then it started to rain ..... just got the drivers side left to paint now.
