Painting bits in the bay

Car  Storm Grey 200
So as my car is in parts already, i'm thinking about painting all the nasty looking bits of metal, will halfords vht silver spray look ok?

Any recommendations on paint? , I want it to be metal coloured, so silver, just clean.

i was thinking exactly the same thing while cleaning the engine bay today. I think hammerite would probably look best.

Yeah I put hammerite on the plenum, looks good, but took ages to dry and was quite thick and nasty.

Mine needs painting its looking a bit sorry for its self. Do you not reccomend hammerite on the plenium then? thats the best i could get it for now :(

i'll give it ago then i don't need the car so it doesn't matter how long it really takes to dry. Can you not just primer the metal and the rattle can it afterwards. I'm going to do all the ecu cover etc a

Yeah I think you can actually use normal paint on parts that don't get TOO hot. Like the upper parts. I used hammerite from a spray can, but I think this time I will use silver high temp paint for other bits like the fuel rail guard
