Painting engine cover - advice

[V9 GSW]

Going to paint my engine cover today, just need to know what everyone does with the '2.0 16v'. Do you just mask it over and said around it before painting or can you get a replacement sticker?

You cant get one from Renault as you have to buy the whole cover iirc £28; So i think people must have them made up from a sign writers or something, hope this helps

I did mine last week
I found the "2.0 16v" sticker on ebay for a couple of quid, sanded it all down, painted, then stuck the sticker on and laquered over them.
Came out really well
