Painting interior Dash Strips

I don't know whether this is teh right section for this, so mods feel free to move it if its not.

I'm looking at painting my interior Dash strips myself. How do you remove them? Are they just clipped in?

ye, just pop them off mate,

passenger side one, open the glovebox and go under the strip and pop out,

Cheers mate. What about the gear stick and the steering wheel insert?

gear stick, i used a thin knife just to lift it up a bit then used my hands, steering wheel not sure, havnt got one on mine sorry

just pull on the steering wheel one, it'll come

The steering wheel one can be a bit of a pain because of the airbag. Prise it out with a screwdriver from the bottom.
