Painting lil side badges...pic- help!!

i wanted to paint my lil side badges, as i have seen afew mk2's on here with it done, n ithink it looks pretty smart!!

1.how wuld i do it?
2. how much wuld it cost?
3. Is it worth it?

here is a rubbish atempt on 'paint' of how i want it!!

could you not just pop them off and spray

yeah just use a screwdriver and carefully pop them out bieng carfull not to break anything! it will cost you about £5-10 depending on paint prices! car looks good btw
