Painting Wishbones & Brake calipers and Hubs

Car  clio 172
Whats the best method for painting my wishbones ?

I take it i need to rough them up first ?

Do i need to use some form of primer then afew coats of paint and laquer ?

Im rubbish at painting so any advice would be great.

Calipers i will use caliper paint and use that on the hubs ?

thanks

Mike

What's your need for painting them?

I'd get them powdercoated though, will be more durable and last 100x longer than paint

I wanted to get them powder coated but ive had poly bushes put in and dont have anythink to remove them with :-(

Did you power coat the calipers?

I've just bought a spare set to do this or paint...

What would you all suggest... Also what colour?

Powder coat for finish and durability, poly bushes come out easy! My wishbones are powder coated along with me Sachs dampers and then hub and brakes are hammerite.
