painting..

If the weather holds out tommorow i think im going to paint my calipers silver to match the car.

From what ive read i just need to give them a quick brush over and then paint with hammerite smooth?

My main question is how long should i really leave the paint to dry before i drive the car?

apparantly leave it 24hrs so it drys better then you wont get any dust etc on them,

hammerite smooth in silver expensive? need some this weekend

I left mine to dry for about an hour then went for a short spin.

yea bout a fiver i think. Will pick some up in the morning. Dont need laquering or anything after?

i left mine for an hour to dry, then done a 2nd coat and let that dry for a couple hours, depend how thick you put the paint on i guess

i done mine as i put my new wheels on and when i finished i drove it mines silver with silver calipers but ive done the disc bells on the fronts looks good
