Paintwork f***ed once and for all? Fred?

I've been running PF97 pads over the winter, and the car's not had a proper wash for weeks.

Stuck it through a carwash today, and the sides of the car remain covered in brake dust.

Fred - you've got some miracle cure for this?

Fairy power spray If it's really bad you might even be looking at clay as well .

Heated water through a power washer? Not even sure if that's a possibility.

Wet n Dry the affected areas, polish back up with a machine polisher.

Mark Autosmart tardis is a good option. But PF dust is brutal!!!

Try some other s**t, like super degreaser or how about wheel cleaner, tho not on your paintwork lol.

^^^ Why not . Paintwork on the body is the same as on your wheels , paint and lacquer .

had the same issues with my carbon lorraines fella, came off easily with the megs clay which you get in their detailing kits

the sonus green was a little too mild

you apply the detailer which acts as a lubricant, gently pass the piece of clay over the lubed up bodywork and it picks up the contaminants

to a search for claying on here and you will see loads of info and tips

You could try using my lass.

She spent many a happy hour picking the tar splats off the sides of our old dynamique while I was washing it. Did a good job too!

had this exact problem with my mates carbon lorraine pads.

spent about 10 hours with autoglym paint rennovator rubbing and the likes, then had to clay it...still not perfect either!
