Panning..

I've never really been that good at it, but managed this as a best effort from Donington Park today - I'm literally chucking 20-30 away for every good shot, it's almost heartbreaking.

Anyway, decided to have a go at some slow shutter action, got this in Manual mode @ 300mm, 1/50s, f14 straight from camera.

why not try a higher shutter speed till you get more consistent results? 1/50th @ 300mm is going to require a pretty perfect panning technique.

It's amazing how different they look on Flickr and Facebook..! Looks like a very good attempt to me, especially at 1/50th.
