Part number help

sorry, superchargers going on both our cars as lots keep slipping the bottom pullys we thought fitting the meggy items would save a costly rebuild later on

Supercharging it, I knew something was going to go wrong. Like you say Adey, we'll try the key part number and see where it takes us. Fred, do you have a part number for the bolt off hand? No worries if not, haven't measured imthe old one yet

Cambelt pulley is different to the one in the gates kit as well...

Left came off the car, right is the one that came with the kit. Wrong kit or wrong car? It's the pulley with the groves in it, the rest all match

I thought the PH-2 cambelt pully / idlers did not fit "directly" on the PH-1?

aye you can run a phs1 cambelt kit on a phs2 engine (and vice versa) if you use the correct pulley spacer for the idler, i'm pretty sure i've done it before
 
I'd suspect it has had a rebuild / replacement. We had an early ph1 with a similar pulley oddity a couple of months ago, didn't check the crank however. It had an engine replacement on the service history from a main dealer and as such ran ph2 type pulleys with the associated spacers.

Oh FFS, do Renault sell the ph2 pulley and bolt on it's own? Who the hell built this bloody car, it's only had 2 owners before me will all receipts, unless the random engine rebuild reciept went missing. Never had comp test, but makes good power at least

So in theory I can get the spacer for the ph1 and get it back together..... minus the small issue of the crank key

ph2 idler was on the car.

For reference:
Ph1 gates code: k025507xs
Ph2 gates code: k035507xs


You can either carry on as you are or move it over to ph1 spec, I wouldn't be too bothered tbh.

Ah yea of course, already a phs2 spacer on it. Thanks for the help. Want to come down and finish all for me lol?

174 pretty much standard, then 192 with matches inlets, remap and v6 airbox etc. Both at Powerstation on rr days with everything making 'normal' power. Was still making power at 7800 when it hit the limiter weirdly

Worried about charging it now...

Appreciate that, but before and after both on same rr for some reference. Being mapped by Matt eventually so cab get a true figure afterwards, if it ever gets done. This isnt helping my 4th feb deadline lol
