you could fit a 172 crank? ;)

and then you only need....

shells

ARP rod bolts

sump gasket

crank seals

oil and filter

flywheel bolts

you may as well do the clutch at the same time when the box is off;)

easy.... er... peasy

if its coming apart replace the rods with forged items, thick metal hg, tiny bit of head work, 6 puk clutch and run a bar of boost, hello 300+

That is why it's not coming apart lol, will just weld the clio bottom pulley on if we can't make/get a key pmsl.

Araldite best option so far, might use some 3M Velcro too?

Then I've got to worry about making sure I get it timed up correctly, what have we got ourselves into Adey? Lol

Just been through all the cars paperwork, theres nothing in the service book or receipts etc and the engine code on the block matches that of the reg document in 2004 and 2010. I have the name and address of original owner for first 5 years, might hope they've not moved and try contact them, to at least see if they know anything. I'm intregued

Will be trying some keys to fit this week, daft Renaults. So long as I can lock the bottom pulley
