part required?

  mk4 golf gt-tdi
iv found a local independant garage that has all the required tools to change my cam belt and aux belt (just in case) on my 172.
while hes got it hes going to service it for me to.
im going to get all the bits i need and what i need to know is everything i require and if renault is the best place to go for it.

cam belt & tensioner kit
aux belt
oil filter
full synthetic oil, whats the best?
fuel filter
polen filter
brake fluid, again the best one?

anything else i need? and the best place to get them from?

Aux belt has to come off to do cambelt so they'll have to (or should) chnage this as well.

Definatly check they have the tools to do the job.

No need in fuel filter sits good for 150k officialy and few are ever changed. (one reason is the later 172 have internal tank ones which are a bugger to change realy and there no problem).

Oil filter Renault best bet only £7.
AUX plus cambelt Renault only
Elf pro sillkline is popular depends what you do Millers 5-40/104-04 is better but expensive.
Polen filter Renault only
Brakes fluid no easy option I use Castrol super dot 4 response everyone has there preferences.

I'd have the gearbox oil chnaged as well loads of choice out there I always use expensive stuff but there loads out there none will be worst than what you have in now.
